Meet Kris Roudebush & Associates

Kris Roudebush, LMFT, CST
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, #107108
Certified Sex Therapist
Greetings! I began working with clients in 2012 and still find great passion in my work as a therapist. My practice addresses life challenges using a holistic perspective by blending various treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), existential, mindfulness, and trauma focused. I identify as a queer and gender affirming therapist. Much of my continuing education has focused on trauma, gender & sexual identity, and sex therapy. I am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist.
As my client, I hope you'll find a safe, inclusive atmosphere. Whether you are considering therapy for the first time or unable to connect with previous therapists, I'll strive to offer you a healing experience that is sensitive to your strengths as well as your challenges. I also believe there is plenty of space for laughter in our work and sessions!
I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. I have an undergraduate degree in Environmental Management & Protection and worked as a Park Ranger and environmental educator. Outside of therapy, you'll likely find me paddle boarding, on my bike, backpacking, reading, or spending time with my orange tabby Huckleberry Finn.

Jessica Rothery, ASW
Associate Clinical Social Worker, #120439
Hey, I’m Jessica! I enjoy working with folks of all ages, from teens to older adults. My previous experience includes working as an individual, group, and family therapist, focusing on anxiety, depression, PTSD, neurodivergence, gender-affirming support, and relapse prevention. I have also spent time working with caregivers, veterans, and people living with dementia, focusing on grief, reminiscence therapy, and end of life transitions.
I approach the therapeutic relationship from a trauma-informed, non-judgemental lens, and hope to offer a space of strength based support. I tend to combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and I am EMDR-trained. I also enjoy mixing things up with improvisational exercises, mindfulness, and art/music therapy.
I received my Masters in Social Work from San Diego State University in San Diego and have an undergraduate degree in Molecular Environmental Biology. I spent about a decade in the bay area working as a museum data scientist, caregiver, and full spectrum doula. I was born and raised here in San Diego and enjoy spending time rollerblading, fishing, hiking in Mt. Laguna, and chasing wildflowers out in the desert.
